Secured glass
Tempered glass is a type of safety glass processed by controlled thermal treatment in order to increase its mechanical strength.
Laminating
The procedure in which two ore more layers of various thickness and size glass are glued together using ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) or polyvinyl butyral (PVB) sheets and a thermal treatment.
Heat-soak test
The heat soak test is used to minimise the risk of spontaneous breakages of heat-treated glass caused by Nickel sulfide inclusions by subjecting the glass to an additional thermal process named “Heat-Soak Test” (HST).
Glass processing
Processing glass from inside and outside. After cutting at specific dimensions, the glass is exposed to a mechanical treatment in order to improve the quality of use and appearance.
Bending and curbing
Curbing and bending glass is the process of plastically deforming the glass.
