Tempered glass is a type of safety glass processed by controlled thermal treatment in order to increase its mechanical strength.

The procedure in which two ore more layers of various thickness and size glass are glued together using ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) or polyvinyl butyral (PVB) sheets and a thermal treatment.

After cutting at specific dimensions, the glass is exposed to a mechanical treatment in order to improve the quality of use and appearance.
